Telehealth is still a new experience for some of our clients. Here are a few answers to common questions our new clients usually have about online appointments.

Click on the Book Apppointment button, choose a convenient date and time, and complete a brief patient information form. The entire scheduling process takes less than 2 minutes!

At Tennessee Telehealth, we treat urgent care symptoms including cold and flu, seasonal allergies, sinus infections and strep throat, and nearly all skin hair and nail conditions, including acne, eczema, rosacea, rashes, warts, skin infections, skin discoloration, skin irritation, cold sores, fungal infections, nail problems, scalp conditions, and hair loss. We treat ages 12 and up.

Yes! Because we are an online dermatology and urgent care practice, we send your prescriptions directly to your pharmacy, no paper prescription needed!

For first-time patients or patients with new conditions, we offer appointments starting at $100. All follow-up appointments for the same condition are $65.

We currently accept self-pay plans, Medicare plans, and plans from major providers such as:

  • BCBS-TN, networks S & P
  • Cigna PPO/HMO
  • United Healthcare commercial plans
  • Medicare
  • Oscar
  • Veteran’s Affairs Community Care Network (VA CCN)

We do not, however, accept Medicare supplement plans.

For your convenience, we also accept personal credit, debit, HSA and FSA cards. We can also provide you with a receipt after your appointment that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Also, thanks to the format of our online dermatology and urgent care appointments we can offer fees that are typically lower than most high deductible insurance plans. So, you may not even need to involve your insurance.

Telehealth is a virtual healthcare visit through a HIPPA secure video platform. We partner with Athenahealth, the largest connected network built to support physician practices. You will connect with us for your video appointment using internet access on a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Our standard online appointments last 15-20 minutes.

Yes! Because we want to give you the best experience possible. Make sure when you take a picture that you’re in a room with good lighting and that your camera is in focus.

No. Both Accutane (Isotretinoin) and Hormonal Contraceptives are best managed in an office setting. When you meet with a provider in-office, they can give you better education about the risks of medication. They’re also better equipped to watch over your treatment. Because both of these medications present certain risks that require a provider to carefully manage your treatment.

Finally, your provider can also handle any routine blood work necessary for your medication plan.
